According to a report from last week, there will be another sister version of Pokémon Sun and Moon (working title: Pokémon Stars), coming to the Nintendo Switch late next year. Eurogamer, who already have a great track record when it came to the Nintendo Switch, has already made the analogy that this third game will be to Sun and Moon what Pokémon Yellow was to Red and Blue.
This may mean that Stars will also be available to play in high resolution, since the Nintendo Switch can output at a high rate.
